The Social Sciences Research Building houses research centres that support studies in the social sciences. These include the Centre for Immigration and Ethno-Cultural Studies, the Centre for Labour Studies, and the Laboratory of Sleep and Chronopsychology.

Exterior Entrances

Accessible entrance leads to level 1 (South side, along University Drive and the Rideau River, near P8).

Interior Entrances

No fully-accessible entry from tunnel system. Tunnels F and G end at Loeb Building. A tunnel connection leads from Loeb to level 2 of HCI, with a door opener. Connection from level 2 HCI to level 2 of SSRB has doors without door openers.

Elevators

1 elevator serves all levels, featuring tactile and braille buttons and an audible announcement system (beeps).

Washrooms

No fully-accessible washrooms in this building. Accessible stalls in multi-stall washrooms on each level, but no door openers. Alternate options are (A) exterior access to Human Computer Interaction Building or Loeb Building, or (B) 2nd level access to Human Computer Interaction Building (although there are doors without openers connecting the buildings).
