2025-2026 Student Permit Rates
Please find below the new student parking rates for 2025-2026 which come into effect May 1, 2025. Increases to parking rates are determined following a review of infrastructure costs, as well as industry parking rate standards.
Summer permits are valid from May 1st to August 31st every year. Student Summer Permits can be purchased at carleton.parkadmin.com
Annual student permits are valid from Sept. 1 – April 30 every year. Permits can also be purchased for a single term.
Due to the high demand for parking on campus, for the 2025-2026 school year, student parking permits will only be available for students with U-Pass waivers (who live outside the Urban Transit Area and Rural Transit Area A) OC Transpo Urban and Rural .eps
U-Pass waivers will be available starting July 5, 2025. You can apply for a waiver at https://carleton.ca/upass/opt-in-and-opt-out/. Waivers are typically processed within two weeks. Once your waiver confirmation is received by email, forward it with an e-mail request for a Student parking permit to parking@carleton.ca. If you do not already have a Carleton University parking account in ParkAdmin, please create one at https://carleton.parkadmin.com/. You will need to use your cmail email and enter your vehicle particulars.
Once your U-Pass Waiver has been verified, a Student parking permit will be placed in your Account cart for payment.
Attention Residence Students
Please contact Parking Services directly if you require a P18 parking permit.
* Evening Permit (After 5PM) allows access to the Library Garage Levels 2/3, and P18 and P11 ONLY after 5PM.
Note: Lot 7 is the overflow lot for P6 and P18. If permit holders ever find their assigned Lot P6 or P18 full they may park in P7 without additional payment.
Parking Services uses virtual parking permits
There is no requirement for a physical parking permit to be displayed. We verify your parking permit by the license plate you have registered on your parking account.
