Resource Officer Program
Building Connections. Supporting Community. Enhancing Service.
The CSS Resource Officer Program is a community-focused initiative designed to strengthen relationships between Campus Safety Services and the Carleton community. Through open dialogue, flexible engagement, and a commitment to service excellence, the program makes safety services more approachable, transparent, and responsive.
What is a Resource Officer?
- Informal Point of Contact
Friendly, go-to support for non-emergency interactions with CSS.
In an emergency, always call 613-520-4444. - Flexible Engagement
No fixed schedules—interactions are shaped around your needs. - Consistent Support
The Engagement and Inclusion Officer (EIO) provides continuity to the program, even with rotating shifts. The EIO is also available to facilitate issues that may arise between the Resource Officer and the stakeholder. Our goal is to support our community and ensure stakeholder needs are met.
