3 critical after vehicle crash on I-55, traffic at standstill

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - Three people were injured in a car crash Thursday morning.
The crash happened on I-55 at South Parkway just before 10 a.m.
According to Memphis Police, three people were taken to Regional One Hospital in critical condition.
The multi-vehicle crash is causing a shutdown.
Northbound lanes are closed and two southbound lanes are blocked.
Traffic is at a standstill as officers investigate.
