1 dead, another injured after shooting at Love’s Travel Stop

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - One person lost their life and another was injured during a shooting at a truck stop.
Memphis Police responded to a shooting on Lamar Avenue at Love’s Travel Stop just before midnight Thursday.
Police say a man was found dead on the scene with an apparent gunshot wound.
A second victim arrived at St. Francis Hospital in non-critical condition by a private vehicle.
Officers detained one person.
