Campus Biotech
The building that once housed the headquarters of Merck Serono, and is now the headquarters of Campus Biotech, was designed not only as a hub for science and research, but also as a meeting place. The building is located in the industrial district of Sécheron, near Lake Geneva. When it was acquired by Serono, it was transformed, under the direction of Dona Bertarelli and the Murphy/Jahn practice, into a modern, contemporary complex, while preserving the history and identity of the area.
Campus Biotech is a new center of excellence in biotechnology and life sciences research. Its primary objective is to focus on pure science and its translation into practical results that will have a direct impact on society and the world.
