Community room bookings
The University of Victoria is an ideal place to hold conferences, workshops, meetings and more. Spaces are typically available at the following times:
- September-December: evenings, weekends, holidays and reading break
- January-April: evenings, weekends, holidays and reading break
- May-August: all days of the week.

Available spaces and rental rates
UVic has 122 classrooms of various sizes that can be booked by community members.
- If you require assistance determining appropriate room sizes and rental rates, please contact us to discuss your needs before submitting a booking request.
- Food and beverages are not permitted in lecture, classroom or seminar spaces unless booked through Degrees Catering.
The Office of the Registrar and Enrolment Management is unable at this time to accept requests for community bookings for classrooms, seminar rooms and lecture halls.
Existing bookings (confirmed prior to June 3, 2024) will go ahead as planned. Bookings for community use will resume in mid-July.
