People

Members of the ARC include researchers from UVic's faculties of Science and Engineering, NRC’s Herzberg Astronomy & Astrophysics Research Centre in Saanich, BC, NRC’s Dominion Radio Astronomy Observatory in Penticton, BC, and the TRIUMF lab in Vancouver, BC.  Our students, postdocs, associates, adjuncts and faculty are involved in a wide range of astronomical research.

UVic Faculty

Hubble M31 PHAT Mosaic

UVic faculty members hold appointments in the Department of Physics and Astronomy, the Department of Computer Science, the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, the Department of Mechanical Engineering, and the School of Earth and Ocean Sciences at the University of Victoria. They conduct research, teach undergraduate and graduate courses, secure research funding, and supervise postdoctoral researchers and graduate students.

Adjunct
