NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - Update: The ground stop at the Nashville International Airport has been lifted, according to the FAA.

Earlier: The Federal Aviation Administration has issued a ground stop at the Nashville International Airport on Friday morning.

The ground stop was issued due to a loss of communications at the Memphis Air Route Traffic Control Center (ZME).

It could be lifted by 11:15 a.m., according to the National Airspace System Status page from the FAA.
