Vigil held in Nashville after Riley Strain found dead
The vigil will be held under the Gay Street bridge in Nashville.
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – A candlelight vigil is planned in Nashville Friday night after the body of 22-year-old University of Missouri student Riley Strain was found in the Cumberland River.
A volunteer told WSMV4′s Marissa Sulek that the community plans to gather under the bridge off Gay Street at 7:30 p.m.

Strain’s body was found after two weeks of extensive search by air, boat and on foot for the 22-year-old following his disappearance March 8. Strain was in Nashville for a fraternity trip when he was kicked out of Luke’s 32 Bridge on Broadway.
Videos released by businesses and police show Strain stumbling and falling around Nashville after being kicked out of the bar. It’s unknown how he ended up in the river, but police do not suspect foul play.
