The Office of the Deputy Provost (Academic Operations and Planning) is responsible for Strategic Planning, the Budget process, Faculty Affairs (academic hiring and career processes) and Academic Labour Relations.

Collective agreements with faculty, contract instructors, teaching assistants and post-doctoral fellows are managed by our office.

We also organize the monthly Academic Heads Roundtable to support Chairs and Directors.
