Co-op students in an approved Master’s program are required to complete two work terms of four months each, in order to graduate with the co-operative education designation. The two work terms may be taken successively or be separated by one or more study terms. A work term may be undertaken during any of the co-op work term cycles (January, May or September). An optional third work term may be approved under exceptional circumstances and/or when a student has been offered an extension with his/her current employer.
