The Kinàmàgawin Symposium addresses timely topics—chosen by students—relevant to Indigenous peoples and serves to empower students, staff and faculty at Carleton to further their own knowledge and become a positive force for change.
The name Kinàmàgawin, which means Learning Together, is shared by the Kinàmàgawin Indigenous initiatives strategy published by the Carleton University Strategic Indigenous Initiatives Committee in 2020. In 2022, the Kinàmàgawin Progress Report was released.
