MOOC "Introduction to Political Citizenship"

The Institute of Citizenship Studies (InCite) was created on the 1st of January 2014. It aims to promote research and teaching on the theme of citizenship in all its dimensions and from an interdisciplinary perspective.

 The Institute's activities focus on three main issues:

- the legal and institutional bases of citizenship and related practices;

- the political participation mobilisation of citizens and non-citizens;

 - the normative foundations of citizenship and its links with democracy.

InCite is also involved in teaching. One programme of study is currently on offer: the Certificat complémentaire en études de la citoyenneté, an interdisciplinary thematic course designed to raise awareness of the need for analysis and critical reflection on citizenship in its political, social and cultural dimensions.
