Omni Tucson National Golf Resort & Spa's Catalina Course has a parkland-style layout that features numerous trees, both lining the fairways and scattered throughout. The traditional design is the more challenging of the two golf courses at Omni Tucson National with water hazards coming into play on eight holes and significant bunkering both greenside and bordering the landing areas.

The traditional design is the more challenging of the two golf courses at Omni Tucson National with water hazards coming into play on eight holes and significant bunkering both greenside and bordering the landing areas. The green complexes are raised and protected by carefully contoured mounding and sand traps. The putting surfaces run quick and smooth with some mild undulations. The golf course provides a formidable test for even the most skilled golfers, the PGA Tour has even ranked the 18th hole as the most challenging finishing hole on the tour.

by Steve Onustack on January 08th, 2012 18:48Very well manicured fairways - some of the nicest looking and hitting grass I've ever played on. Nice layout. Not easy by any means. Plenty of water. The only reason I wouldn't rate it higher is due to the snobbishness of the pro shop employees. Been there twice and seems like us non members are low class citizens. I can't imagine any of these pro shop employees earn anything close to as much as any of us, so it seems like they could treat us a little better. We live in another state and are on a golf vacation. If they don't want us on their course, they shouldn't open it up to the public.
