Omni Tucson National Catalina Course in Tucson, Arizona
Omni Tucson National's Catalina Course is the rare golf course in Arizona that's packed with golf history. Catalina Course (which has gone by other names over the years, too) has hosted more than 30 PGA Tour events. Arnold Palmer, Johnny Miller and Tom Watson have all won here.
With the Tucson Chrysler Classic no more, Tucson National Catalina's days as a PGA Tour host are probably past. But that doesn't mean vacationers have lost their love for the course.
Catalina brings plenty of water into the desert. It's a green parkland-like layout with eight holes that feature aqua obstacles. Everyone remembers No. 18 - the par 4 that has its fairway squeezed by lakes on both sides and boasts multiple shooting water fountains.
