First Alert Weather Day: Strong storms possible Tuesday

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - A First Alert Weather Day has been issued for Tuesday, April 2 for stormy weather.

A few strong-to-severe thunderstorms will be possible as a cold front approaches from the west.

As of now, heavy downpours and damaging wind gusts are the main concern. However, there could also be a few storms that contain hail.

An isolated tornado or two cannot be ruled out at this time.
