Equity and Inclusive Communities

Welcome to the Department of
Equity and Inclusive Communities (EIC)

The Department of Equity and Inclusive Communities (EIC) is providing services in person, over Microsoft Teams or via phone during our regular business hours (8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday). To ensure someone is available, we recommend making an appointment.

If you would like to meet with a member of our team, the best way to make an appointment, send an inquiry, or otherwise connect with us is to email equity@carleton.ca. You should receive a reply to your inquiry within two business days.

For immediate crisis support, you can contact the Ottawa Distress Centre at 613-238-3311 or the Sexual Assault Centre of Ottawa at 613-234-2266.

The The Centre for Indigenous Support and Community Engagement now has their own website.

We foster the development of an inclusive and transformational university culture where individual distinctiveness and a sense of belonging drive excellence in learning, research, teaching, and working at Carleton.
