Parking Services has created designated Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Stations/Parking Spaces on Level 2 in P9 (Admin. Garage) -2, Level 1 in the Library Garage -2 and Level 1 of P16 – 2, Level 1 in the P18 Garage-2 and on west side of Parking Lot 7, just north of the P18 – 20. The EV Charging Station is a value-added service that Parking Service provides to our parking users (those with electric vehicles) – users can charge their vehicle while parked at the university.
- If you are a current permit holder (any parking area on campus), you may use the EV Charging Stations at no additional charge for up to 4 hours. Once your vehicle is charged, you must move your vehicle back to your home parking lot.
- If you are not a permit holder, you must pay the EV Charging Station parking rate through the HotSpot App or by scanning the QR Payment link posted by the EV Charger. Once your vehicle is charged (within the 4hr. time limit), you must remove your vehicle from the space.
Parking Services will continue to monitor EV usage on campus and explore further deployment of EV Charging Stations in future years.
