Most course work is submitted online by pre-determined deadlines.
If an assignment must be submitted physically it can be mailed to the department, postmarked by the deadline.
Some testing takes place online but many distance courses have proctored seated exams.
Local students can write proctored exams on campus whereas distance students can arrange to write these in their area with a qualified local proctor. More information on this can be found on the Carleton Online website.
Students must apply for a Letter of Permission from Carleton and receive approval in advance before registering at another institution. Please review the guidelines and deadlines for Letter of Permission applications.
